Notorious BIG aka Biggie "Duets"
Released today ......a few years ago. It was an honor to have mixed the#Biggie #duets and specifically the song with Biggie and Pun. Rewind a few years.... we were recording the Murda Muzik album and Pun was gonna do a verse. He cancelled cause he could not fit in the small elevator at Soundtrack Studios. I was like .... damn. We rescheduled but he passed away before the session. Prodigy and Pun knew each other well. Fast forward and #harvepierre and#Conrad from #badboy asked me to mix the duets album. I was super exited but not as much to find out I was gonna mix "Get your grind on" with Biggie, Pun, #fatjoe and #freeway. There's the intro where they asked Pun in an interview.... you never did a song with Biggie and Pun replied ....we might do a song at the pearly gates. That gave me the goose bumps cause Biggie and Pun were doing a song at the pearly gates and I was mixing it. Wow.. what an HONOR. Other songs that I mixed were "70 something with#faithevans and #thegame. "I'm with whateva" with Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones.
